The remote turns the unit on and off, as well as controlling the ozone output, fan speed, and the built in timer - all from across the room! 
There has never been a more versatile ozone generator ever before!

This will burst the ozone on for either 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, or 60 seconds per minute, thereby creating a lower total ozone output for use in the smallest of rooms without the ozone from becoming overpowering.

The XT-800 also features a Half Power Switch. This enables the user to switch off one transformer of the unit essentially turning it into an XT-400.

Air-Zone® uses 24 carat gold plating in all our  United States Patented ozone elements to help prevent corrosion. We also use high temperature, shatter resistant, tempered glass in our innovative ozone elements.

Old style ozone "plates" consist of flimsy, easily corroded, steel screens and delicate, thin pieces of glass or mica, less than a millimeter thick.
They must ALWAYS be kept perfect alignment or there is a chance that screens will touch and the transformer will short out and become a fire hazard.

We do not use MICA ozone plates in our ozone generators.

MICA is the cheapest and worst material to use in an ozone plate. 
MICA easily breaks, flakes apart, burns, and shorts out the generator. 
Stay far away from any ozone generator using a MICA ozone plate.

If not cleaned and aligned constantly, old style ozone "plates" will produce less ozone, and possibly even spark out dangerous high voltage electricity.

Air-Zone's® patented ozone elements solve all these problems.

Old style ozone "plates", first designed in the 1800's,  must be removed, scrubbed clean, dried, and be meticulously reassembled, or they will not work correctly. Even with all that work, their life span is notoriously short.

Air-Zone's® low cost, patented ozone elements can be quickly cleaned with the special included element cleaning tool we include with every ozone generator.  They can be replaced in minutes with a screwdriver.

Old style mica ozone "plates" consist of 4 separate parts. Each of the 40 pieces in A 10,000 mg/hr ozone generator must be meticulously installed and aligned for the ozone machine to work properly.

Our corona discharge elements work much better than UV Ultraviolet bulbs. General Electric states that ultraviolet light does not kill mold.

Air-Zone® uses completely sealed, high voltage transformers, that can withstand a lot of abuse before shorting out. They are designed specifically for our ozone generators.  Combined with our innovative ozone element design, it is very rare that one of our power transformers blow out.

Competitors use off the rack, open iron core transformers. The exposed iron can quickly rust and deteriorate. These types of transformers are not specifically designed for use in an ozone generator, and have a hard time maintaining a long life span in this type of machine.

Other companies also use the same exact transformer in many different sized models.

Be sure an avoid those ozone generators that are "easily and inexpensively upgraded" 
by the addition of more ozone "plates".

Air-Zone® uses multiple transformers in our different models.  How can a single transformer that is used in a small ozone machine be expected to handle the much higher load in a large ozone generator?

The truth is that they use only ONE transformer and are more likely to blow out than machines like our units with MULTIPLE power transformers. 

Simply adding ozone plates to increase the ozone output puts a dangerous extra load on the power transformers. 

This fact is made very clear that by adding 2 ozone plates to a one plate 1000 mg/hr ozone generator that the total ozone output is only 2600 mg/hr and NOT the 3000 mg/hr it should be.

If the transformer was properly sized the ozone output would equal 3000 mg/hr, but that fact that the resulting output is only 2600 mg/hr is absolute evidence that the transformer is improperly sized, especially to upgrade the ozone output.

Since the 3000 mg.hr ozone output was not achieved, it can only be concluded that the missing 400 mg/hr of ozone was lost because the transformer was not able to handle the extra load of the extra ozone plates!

The extra load on the transformer causes it to get very hot, and it is prone to completely blow out.

Note that some 1000 mg/hr ozone generators try to add up to four extra ozone "plates" but that the total ozone output ONLY reaches the 3600 mg/hr level and not the 5000 mg/hr it SHOULD be.

Trying to double or triple the power of an ozone generator by simply adding more ozone plates is a cheap, unsafe, and not reliable way of trying to increase the ozone output.

Air-Zone® ONLY increases ozone outputs by adding extra ozone elements, AND by properly adding extra power transformers. That's why our models with higher ozone output have even ozone out put numbers like 2000, 4000, or 6000 mg.hr instead of an erratically designed unit that outputs 1000, 2600, or 3400 mg/hr.

ONLY a cheap ozone generator would try to increase the ozone output by simply adding extra ozone plates and not by adding the proper amount of transformers.

Beware of "upgradable output" ozone generators. 
They won't last, and are prone to fail.

That's why ozone generators that are "upgradable" by simply adding more ozone plates are not very well designed. The load on the transformer HAS to be radically different on a single or five plate ozone generator. 

This is proven by the fact that when a competitor adds 4 more ozone plates to a 1000 mg/hr machine it does NOT equal 5000 mg/hr.

The "upgraded" generator now only puts out 3600 mg/hr, the missing 1400 mg/hr of ozone output has been lost because the transformer cannot handle the extra load.

That proves that the load is radically different when you simply add more ozone plates to a power transformer.  If the transformer has been strained so that it looses that much ozone power, then it can be concluded it is that much closer to straining and blowing out. 
It HAS to be running at a higher temperature. 

Our XT-2000 uses a single transformer. The XT-4000 uses 2 transformers. The XT-6000 and the XT-6000S  uses 3 power transformers.  Our larger models use even more transformers.

We do this because to present a balanced load, and to have even power distribution. 
It is better to use multiple transformers when doubling or tripling the ozone power.
It only makes good sense. It makes for a more balanced ozone machine.

Keep in mind the fact that competitors also use ozone plate technology where each "plate" has 3 pieces in it that can easily move around.  They use a spring system to keep each part of the plate in perfect alignment. A 10 plate, 10,000 mg/hr ozone machine will have 30 separate pieces in its 10 ozone plates!  A 10,000 mg/hr "plate type" ozone machine has 30 parts that must ALWAYS be in perfect alignment or disaster will occur.

If a single piece of the glass or mica non-conductor breaks, cracks, or just slips out of alignment due to a lack of spring tension, then the electrical conductor, screen parts of the ozone elements can arc and cause an electrical short. 
When an ozone plate short outs, the transformer is also shorted out.  No matter how well it is built, a transformer cannot stand being shorted out for very long.  Electrical transformers cannot stand to have a high voltage, zero ohm load on them, for very long without being put under a huge amount of strain.

Air-Zone® not only uses multiple transformers in our higher powered units to help balance the load, they also use our U.S. patented ozone elements which do not have components in them that can move, or shift  out of alignment.  There is no way for them to short out as standard ozone plates can.

Air-Zone® are simply more stable ozone generators than most other brands.
